It only took 19 years, but I finally have closure from Steve’s ABRUPT exit from “Blues Clues”.

 

The O.G. host, STEVE BURNS, came back to give a special message to his grown-up fans in celebration of the 25th anniversary of “Blues Clues”.  (Check out the video.)

 

 

Steve said, quote, “We started out with clues and now it’s what?  Student loans and jobs and families . . . and some of it has been kinda hard, you know? . . .

 

 

“I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years I never forgot you . . . ever.”

 

He also said he understands his exit in 2002 was abrupt, so he just wanted to acknowledge it.

 

 

In other Steve news . . . he is directing a music video for the anniversary with the current host Josh Dela Cruz and the other former host Donovan Patton.  A release date hasn’t been announced.
