Worldpeace DMT have released a new mixtape titled Flowers Powers while confirming their next full-length album. In the July 24 announcement, the London duo revealed that Stick Around for Tea is scheduled to arrive in October.
The newly released mixtape includes the recent single Lonesome alongside the duo’s version of Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi. It arrives as a bridge between their earlier work and the upcoming formal follow-up to The Velvet Underground & Rowan.
Worldpeace DMT consists of Leo Fincham and Rowan Please, who is also associated with the Femcels. Their music brings together pop, R&B, and alternative influences, giving the project a style that does not fit neatly into one category.
The pair will support the new material with a rescheduled North American mini-tour in October. The itinerary includes two shows in New York and two in Los Angeles, followed by a final performance at Schubas in Chicago.
