Strong Cold Front Tuesday

TUESDAY: Plan on mountain snow this morning. Travel into the mountains will be extremely tough, where 1 to 2 feet of snow and strong wind will be around. We’ll watch for colder temperatures and showers to move in throughout the late morning and afternoon, lowering fire danger, especially north of HWY 50. Light rain and snow will be possible through this evening, but major accumulations aren’t expected at this time. A dusting to couple of inches look possible for areas like Monument and Woodland Park. However, the big story will be the gusty wind and the big temperature drop during the afternoon and evening.
